		<description>This sounds like such a cool project to do! As my grandmother use to say "waste not, want not". She was forever reusing something to make something else. She told me about the Great Depression and how hard it was. Keep the great ideas coming!</description>

		<description>I agree the socks out of them might not be very comfy, but you could crochet or knit a shopping bag that wouldn't rip like the original ones do. :)</description>

		<description>I tried that...I wasn't all that impressed with the results. I bet the projects would  come out better when made by a more experienced crocheter/knitter!  Maybe I'll try again some time.</description>
