Small GPS tracking device

As I have mentioned before on this blog I really want to get myself a GPS (Global Positioning System) device. A GPS will make it more convenient for me when I am out tracking in the forest, out fishing with my boat (it would be great to know the exact spots where there are tons of fish) or want to find a specific location in cities that I am not so familiar with.

There are many different options when you want to shop for a GPS. A company called Land Air Sea sells a device that is used for GPS Vehicle Tracking. The device is very small and can be easily connected to cars with a strong magnet. It can even be placed under the car as the device is water resistant.
This kind of GPS Tracking is very accurate as the system is able to track every movement within 2.5 meters every second. Another great feature with this device is that it is compatible with Google Earth and since it is equipped with USB you can just connect the tracking device to your computer. Then you can upload the data to Google Earth and look in great detail at every movement that the car has done.

This device sounds like an excellent solution if you want to track where your vehicle has been, but it should of course not be abused with illegal tracking.

Vehicle tracking system based on GPS

Today GPS (Global Positioning System) has become very popular. The system consists of 24 satellites that can be used for tracking and navigation. Personally I have been thinking about getting some kind of GPS for my boat so I can mark on a map where I got caught big amounts of fish. This would make it very easy to find the same fishing spot again as you are able to mark with an accuracy of a few meters.

Another use of GPS is vehicle tracking where you can track every movement that a vehicle is doing.
A company that sells a tracking system like this is Vehicle-Tracking.com. With their small tracking key you can track every movement of a vehicle. The device sends out a signal every second and is able to record the position within 2.5 meters, making the system very accurate.
Another great feature with this system is that you can upload the recorded data to Google Earth and since the tracking key got USB you can connect it directly to any computer making it easy to use. By using Google Earth you get to see in great detail every movement that the vehicle has been doing.
The tracking key has a magnet mount and is water resistant so you can even put the small and easily concealable device on the underside of a vehicle.

Vehicle-Tracking.com ships their vehicle tracking system to all states in the US.
