My latest knitting project is some striped black and purple wrist warmers. It can often be cold in the winter and it is nice with some wrist warmers when you work on the computer or do crafting.
The wrist warmers were supposed to be for myself, but alas I made them a bit too small so they ended up as a gift for a friend. She is very happy with them though 🙂

Here is a picture of the wrist warmers:

Very Nice!!! I do like the colors together. Did you use a pattern?

Thanks for that yarnchic. Didn’t use a patter so that is probably why they were too small for me 😉

Very lovely!!! I’m working on a set right now for my fiance, because he has an iphone so he can’t wear traditional gloves or mittens.

I stumbled upon your blog and wanted to share this – if you’re interested in history you might already know it…but in case you don’t….During WW2, the injured soldiers were often taught to knit as occupational therapy while they were recovering in military hospitals. I remember a very manly (macho even) guy who owned the local gas station & garage where I grew up. He was a decorated former marine who could also knit circles around most anyone’s grandmother!

Nice and cosy-looking. Reminds me of blackcurrant and liquorice sweets.
